Where to find the code chart


You will find the code chart in the menu "travel" / "basic data"



Explanation of the code chart



In the code chart you define the different codes for each service type (roomtype for the hotel, cartype for the rental car etc.).




1Display of all catalogues with the different folders (the folders are fix)

3Display of the detailed information of the marked code

Setup of a new code


Mark the folder "No catalog assignment" and subfolder "Hotel" and "Unknown (Hotel/Accommodation)" for roomtypes, right mouse click, select "New"

Cataloghas to be empty (because of "no catalog assignment")
Group and Function are already filled out (these are the subfolders)

Checking from always check the code from position 1 except for meals (position 5)
Positions the code A11 (example above) has 3 positions
Code descriptionwrite down the code again
Invoice textdefinition of the code – double click into the field and
translate in French because this is a multilingual field

Important: for meals also set up English text because they are printed on the voucher report.

You will find the code schema in the menu "travel" / "basic data"

Explanation of the code schema


In the code schema you define how the booking system has to react by booking several codes depending on a service. With this functionality, the user can define which codes could be booked, for example no codes without prices or without service types.

Default forif a requirement is flagged in this list, than the code schema is
set as default for all booking codes with this requirement
Pos.from/Pos.till start/end position in code where the "state" should be
compared with the booked code in the booking system

Code typechoose the subfolder where the code type is located in the
code chart
State:
Mandatory All codes could be booked, even not setup within booking
code and/or price chart. Leave the positions empty would not
be possible  not in use for Kuoni
Option,Price+allotment requirementThe mealplan is optional, but service type (= allotment) and
price chart is mandatory if another mealplan than the
standard meal plan is booked
EmptyOnly empty entries could be booked (no codes)
