How to set up a handling fee
1.1 Create and set up
Go to system settings, select Conditions and create a new handling fee:
Now it can be set up like this:
These are most important settings which need to be made. There are a lot more possibilities to set up the fee, e.g. validity only for selected catalogues, booking codes and of course it is advisable to create different handling fees for different product types.
1.2 Select Agencies
Pick all agencies which should calculate a handling fee when booking.
In this case Agency 40 is able to calculate handling fees.
2.1 Set up Product Types
To successfully create bookings with handling fees, the service types in the booking need to have the correct product type in the price, so that it can be associated with the handling fee.
Means the field "Product type search" in the fee needs to be the same like in the field "product type" in the price of the selected service.
If there is a service with user defined prices, the product type is set in the details of service:
2.2 Booking
If everything was set up correctly, the handling fee is automatically calculated when a booking is made:

If an invoice is printed, the text from the fee description is printed:
